I just got a microphone and was wonderin what kind of program i need to record somthing thats pretty long. And if there is anywebsites i can use to upload what i record to put on my webpage.

Windows has a sound recorder that may be sufficient.  In Win XP, Go to Start, All Programs, Accessories, Entertainment, and open Sound Recorder.  

How did you upload your existing web pages?

a good free way is to use any of the instant messengers (yahoo, msn...). You can open up and voice chat and record away for as long as you want. Then you can use smart ftp to upload it.    

The html codes for getting your sound file to play are eays to find with a yahoo search. depending on what file type you use.
