Cannot save to jump drive
« on: July 18, 2006, 06:37:40 PM »
I tried to save a file to my jump drive from my IBM Thinkpad, but could not. I can read files already on the drive (via laptop), and can add to them via my desktop, but not from the laptop. The laptop has win 98. Is there a driver I am missing on my laptop? If so, where can I find it?   :-?>:(

Try the manufacturer's website.  I have PNY USB 2.0 Flash drive.  PNY has a Win 98SE driver on their website.  Other brands may do the same.  Check it out.

Win98 definitely needs a driver. Later Windows do not usually.
