Post your computer or motherboard make/model. If you don't know, run Belarc Advisor (free at www.belarc.com)

There are No Geforce 7's that Are PCI

What you have there is a PCI-Express Card, Always Do Research Before you Buy Hardware

And do as GX1_Man Said, and we may beable to help you inbuying a mother Board that Will house your New GFX card, and Your Existing CPU and Ram

Woh, he bought a 150$ card and he cant use it..

I dont think theres much hope. Any motherboard with AGP has a socket 478 CPU, wich is what he has. And he wont find a motherboard with PCI-E and socket 478.

Best chances are to go back to the store and tell them to give u THE SAME card for AGP, they probably will since the card dosent actually fit ur motherboard.

Track he Never Said wat kinda CPU he had, there is a Good Chance he can Get a PCI-E Mother Board for His CPU

and there is only one Geforce 7 thats AGP and that the 7800, and it costs like $500

NO NO, 99% of all motherboard with socket 478 have AGP ONLY. This means that whoever has AGP probably has a socket 478.

The Geforce 7600 GT/GS AGP was released a month ago, and the store he bought it in should have it.
          Please dont confuse him furthur.

Why do you think he has a 478 CPU?
If he has an AMD he can Upgrade to a PCI Express Board, if not then you have Revealed a new option

Since there is now a an AGP 7600, he can get that.

There a PCI Express Mother Boards for all the Flowing, on one Web site

            AMD754, AMD939, AMD940, AMDAM2, Intel479, Intel775

Just let him get the 7600 GT AGP version for no extra cost, other then trying to buy and install a new motherboard.

Let's wait for the original poster to return and post his equipment. Without that we are just guessing and doing no on any favors.
