Explorer.exe Not Responding During Shutdown

Hey, when I try to restart, shutdown, or log off my computer, I always get a window that says that explorer.exe is not responding. After I tell it to end the process my computer shuts down just fine. Does anybody know why its doing that? Thanks!

Alot more info on your system, OS and what happened prior to this and someone will be along shortly to assist.
