HELP!!! IE closes for anythign to do with chat

Help Me PLease,
When i use internet explorer or Mozilla Firefox it closes when i
go into any link to a chatroom and it closes when i go to a website or click on a link that has the word chat in it. i have scanned for viruses and spyware and all that stuff and it deleted 3 things and it still keeps closing, Please help me because it is important and i really need help a.s.a.p

Did you check to see if perhaps a Firewall is filtering these websites?

You failed to mention what version of Internet Explorer and operating system is installed.

I still donot see in how a chatroom can be important to you.. Unless...
