This is a landmark step by Microsoft. They could have got £20,000 in ad revenue for the space they have given up to ensure a higher level of user safety and we hope others will follow them.

20 seconds? Yes, that's right folks, by the time you finish reading this rant, generous-hearted ol' MS will already have recouped its losses from passing up this wonderful opportunity to advertise...
It's mere coincidence that they get lots of good (and free) publicity from this manoeuvere.
Of course, no one will use this new "report a paedophile" button to falsely claim that all their friends are dodgy...
Pointless.
But I hope some good comes of it!
