    More CPU temperture question
    « on: August 28, 2006, 11:09:49 AM »
OK, I refitted the cpu with a new coat of thermal compound. The cpu is a Intel Celeron D 2.93 GHz. Now I got the temperture down to 100 to 104F when it's idle. I put it through some cpu intense tasks such as compliing code, the temperture went up to at most 132F, once the task is done, it dropped back to the 100 range. Does this sound pretty good?

By the way, all these readings are according to the Intel Active Monitor software came with the mobo. I never gave a thought to the temperture thing untill now, should I even bother to worry about it?  ::)

    MacPC.

Hi, there. This is normal for Celeron to increase his temperature when it is working.Don't worry
