Reason my comp has been slow for a year now

csrss.exe is a normal windows file , but the trojan version is marked with a green U and a red D and this is what i find on my firewall list when csrss.exe keeps asking for net access

Start>Search>For Files or Folders>.... Search for csrss.exe

Does it appear anywhere other than c:\windows\system32 ?

yes four versions of it but the one in this directory doesnt showup..something isint right EDIT: its like it doesnt even exist.. i sent a email to my antivirus company about it , i wonder if they'll do anything

Is your Windows Explorer set to show hidden folders & files?
What are the locations of the other 4 versions?

*censored* no when i was scaning my antivirus caught a virus trying to load itself onto my comp
im not doing any online scans from panda or ewido

im only 12...and my best antivirus program doesnt seem to detect this and ewido doesnt open anymore..i think my antivirus deleted an adware infected file in this program

the online virus scans that we use on this site are not going to infect your computer all they do is detect infections.

what kind of antivirus do you have??


dl
spybot
adaware
ccleaner
windows defender
zone alarm if you dont already have a firewall
ewido

if you already have these programs but they dont work uninstall them and reinstall them.

then follow theses instructions:

turn off system restore
 

NOTE: New users might find going through the following steps to be useful:
 
1. Turn off System Restore if applicable. (Windows ME & XP users)  
2. Run Ccleaner  
3. Run Ad-Aware  
4. Run Spybot  
5. Run Microsoft Antispyware  
6. Run AVG Free  
7. Run Ewido  
8. Re-start in Safe Mode  
9. Re-run AVG Free  
10. Re-start in Normal Mode  
11. Turn on System Restore if applicable. (Windows ME & XP users)

restart in safe mode(rapidly tapping f8 when windows is starting up)

delete anything that is found.

in ccleaner click the issues tab on the left and do a scan for issues then click fix selected issues back up ur register when it asks you to save it on your desktop.

make sure all of the programs are updated
