I finally got the sound card to work
after disabling audio in bios, reinstalling the sound card, installing vjoyd.vxd ...it would not work from a download from any site but found it (from an old copy of win 98 from Dell!!) as this sound card needs the msjstick.drv to operate and of course, drivers on the sound card cd. The only problem I have is that you can barely hear the sound :-/, so something else is wrong. I have adjusted all controls to the volume and no luck. :-? I am determined to figure this out and your help/guidance/assistance is without question, invaluable!
