monitor  problem

i have a problem with my monitor. i was playing with a magnet rattler and my friend was working on my pc  and al l at once he asked me some problem and i just pointed my hand on to the the screen with the magnet rattler and the half portion of screen changed colour to the rainbow colour and i seem to have this problem would u please advise me in this matter please  :-? :-? :-? :-?

    Try degaussing the monitor, the option should be on the monitor controls.
    If you have no option to degause then try turning it completely off and on a few times.
    Given time it should improve too.
