Minimizing/De-selecting
« on: September 13, 2004, 07:14:59 PM »
Alright.. ..it seems that I've run into a little problem here:
This morning when I started up my computer and loaded an internet window and began to type the address, the cursor would dissapear and the whole of what I'd writen would highlight, and from my continuing typing, dissapear and restart at the beginning.
From what I have gathered, every six seconds, or six blinks or the cursor this happens. The most annoying thing is that it will de-select the program at six second intervals and then reselect it, therefore making what you typed every sixth second non-applicable, causing large grammer errors in your work.
Also it will minimize games (Starcraft Ect.) At the six second interval, which makes them impossible to play.
(Games do not restore upon expiry of six seconds)

Nothing I have done has led up to this as far as I know.. though this being a shared computer it is entirely possible that it was not me who did it.

BTW: I run Windows XP Home

   All the best,
