I am taking a stab at this*
I have a verizon premium  Isp service in New Hampshire. They give u a choice of Yahoo or Msn as their default package. They are pushing u to take the yahoo for some reason. Yahoo is "trying" to compete a little with google. They have a very good email program (I love & use it as my default) and 2 others. Yahoo is trying to push their email program as one of the safest and reliable on the market. I am guessing it is upgrading and doing stuff to it and it is some kind of redirect. Nothing seemed to change from the 1st page to the 2nd though ?  I do not care so much for their norton virus scan on their emails though, sometimes it freezes up on sending....

I have the Verizon MSN package. The Verizon Yahoo didn't come with firewall, and the MSN comes with Firewall and AntiVirus.
I like using Hotmail and MSN and Outlook more than using Yahoo WebEmail Access and Yahoo Browser and Outlook with Yahoo...

You have to use each package for at least 90 days before switching again. I tried both!

        Hey,

Have you noticed the "Prevent Password Theft" , at the right hand side, this is specially for stopping phising.

I'm laughing my A off,  I should have taken the msn package too!  I only use their(yahoo) email, I did not download the entire premium package the 2nd time~~  yes, I opted out within 3 weeks of downloading it. I have other software for the other stuff. I do not like my eggs in one basket*  YOUR MUCH smarter than I on that 1# :-/

It's a good thing.  They're redirecting you to a secure page.  Notice the URL begins with https instead of http.  https indicates a secure mode; your browser will also show some indication of being in secure mode, such as the lock at the bottom (the status bar) appearing in a locked status, for Internet Explorer.  So, you're working in the same secure mode used by banks and other financial sites that use that mode; it uses encryption to make data transmission more secure.

I don't think they quite understand how the internet works.
I must say though, the ISPs and their packages have done a great job in pulling the wool over their eyes.

I have Cox internet. I do not have to use the COX home page, or any of their services unless I choose to. Other ISP's are just in bed with Yahoo or MSN or whatever, but you can fight your way out of that.  ;)
