    opening a system file?

    how would i go about opening a system file (.sys)

        oh nothing.. just playing with stuff..

        im waiting for my cds and when i get them im going to play with stuff so i can learn more about windows and then reformat..


        its in a language i dont understand. maybe a complier would decode it?

          Compilers compile, not decompile, I believe ::)

          Just opening a random system file = waste of time, to be honest.

                    If you don't know what you are doing there is no point. If you must mess around, get an old computer and learn how to edit config.sys and autoexec.bat

                      i do have an old computer set aside for my experiments. its an old gateway and i have the cds so when i do screw it up i can reformat.
