Intergrating MSI
« on: September 20, 2006, 06:56:34 AM »
Hi,

I made an batch file that launches an .MSI installer via msiexec.exe but is it possible if i copy it from the system folder and paste it in my installer map so that if someone doesn't have Windows Installer 3.1 it also will work?

Thanks in advance,

Greetz Ruben

I think the Windows installer consists of more than just one .exe file.

If someone does not have it, why not provide the link to them for downloading it?

The target is that my installer run's a .MSI file without installing Windows Installer but run it from my msiexec.exe so that you don't have to install it.
