Double Click
« on: September 30, 2006, 01:10:59 PM »
Hmm, I tried searching a bit but seem to have found nothing.  The problem is I restarted my computer, now when I double click on anything on my desktop it shows the property of the item instead of opening it.  Is there a solution to this?

I'm using Windows XP Professional

I used to resolve that by rapidly pressing the LMB and RMB together. It always made it go away.  :P Can't remember if that was with Windows 98 or XP, though.

But it may be best to do it this way:

  • Start
  • Settings
  • Control Panel
  • Mouse
  • Reverse Primairy and Secundairy Button (Tag)
  • Apply
  • Ok
