I'd upgrade my PC, personally... got my eye on a very good video card (the latest GeForce is $600... that'd be interesting gameplay...)

I agree, upgrade. I wish I could, but I think my wife might take exception to that right now....

Actually, I've got a really good one, this time. But I just bought a Canon digital camera so I don't think she would find it funny if I wanted to upgrade...
Did you check www.newegg.com for the same cards? A lot of times they are better priced.

    Here's a link about ram, a simple explaination http://www.webopedia.com/TERM/R/RAM.html

And here is a link to Tigerdirect.com and how much wattage you use, click on the "truth about power supplys" In it there is a list of how much power you need for how many watts you use. http://www.tigerdirect.com/applications/SearchTools/item-details.asp?EdpNo=1565893&CatId=0
I'm no genius, but it helped me figure out what I needed.

it all edpends on what you do more. if your a hardcore pc gamer then upgrade ur pc

if ur a console freak then the 360 (and that wont be enough for the 360)

if you listen to music alot then an ipod

RAM stands for Random Access Memory. It stores data temporarily when you run programs and appications. The more RAM you have, the better your PC will perform.

Any computer today is an upgrade for me. 5 Years ago I spent $1000 for a computer and I will be *censored* if I I am going to throw it out... It just needs a little upgrade tis all... Hopefully the Pieces wont cost alot of money... No AGP slot either :-/

512MB is probably enough for C&C and Sims 2. 1GB is recommended for BF2.

BF2 has been available for a long time. You only have a 800Mhz processor which will not be able to play BF2. Basically you need to upgrade every aspect of your computer, processor, RAM and video card. I'd be tempted to save a bit more and just buy a new computer.

I doubt it will be as good as the PC version. The XBox version certainly isn't.

Well.  I bought a PSP, iPod, and just recently upgraded my PC a bit (just got some more RAM and a new monitor).  I like my PSP a lot, but I hardly ever play it.  I'm actually thinking about selling it right now.  Between my PC and iPod, I think I use my pod about 2x's as much as my computer.  But hey, that's just me.  I like music that much.

Anyway, it's really about what you think you want/need more.
