    Outlook 2003
    « on: October 14, 2006, 01:47:45 PM »
(Apologies in advance for typos, lack of spaces -- I'm typing this on a laptop.)

My mother is having some trouble, and quite frankly it's way over my head. She can get Emailfrom all of her sites except for her MSN account. The odd thing is that she can send, but not receive, on her Outlook 2003 program, but she can do both on the site itself. She says she hasn't touched any settings; she's no newbie to PCs but she's no expert either, so I tend to believe her on that.

    What can/should I do?

    Check the SMTP settings.

I think you need MSN Premium to be able to make use of POP3.. Does your mom have that?

Yes, we do. And I should hasten to say that she's been able to connect this way for a while.

I'll check the settings next time I get the chance.
