    I can understand that, there's nothing worse than not being 100% confident with hardware.
    If it was mine I'd scrap the whole thing and go shopping for the best of the best. LOL!
    Having said that, a new fan properly fitted would probably fix it.

    I might get a new fan if I want to experiment with building a PC for my fiancee so she can stop hogging mine all of the time. But in the meantime, I'm looking forward to the AMD 64 X2 4800+ and board I just ordered, along with 4 gb of DDR2.

    How much of that 4 gig do you think Windows will actually use?
