Does anybody here know how to use the W2k Recovery Console...
I shut down my PC and upon Reboot

    I get:

Windows 2000 could not start because the following file is missing or currupt.
    \WINNT\SYSTEM32\CONFIG\SYSTEM

I can't figure out how to extract the SYSTEM file from the CD.

I even tried to replace the files from another W2k desktop....lol.. No luck though..
Any help would be greatly appreicated.

Do you have a 3.5 floppy drive? :-?

You should be able to do a repair install with the 4 disk set.

Click on disk 1 through 4 that you unzip and number your floppy disks
1-4 this will make a boot disk set.
