    microphone sound icky

    i can record myself on the computer very clear but when im online with others, its static, its a cheap mic only 12 bucks but im wondering how i can make my mic sound better? what do i have to do to let others hear me? thanks im newb at this.

      i tried using it on MSN messenger. but i want it to work for ventrilo as well.

        my friend says it sounds staticky. is it a connections issue or?

        This may be the biggest problem. What sound card is being used?
