Need help solving a problem
« on: October 17, 2006, 07:10:02 PM »
Here is the issue!!  I was cleaning up my system using norton and then i did a reboot when I rebooted the startup was fine.  Everything else was fine but my keyboard is dead both my wireless keyboard and teh keyboard on my labtop.  There is no way for me to login as I have teh windows password?  So question 1.  How do I fix the problem or what maybe the problem of why neither keyboard works?  Question 2 How can I bypass the welcome screen without logging into the system first and disabling it??

Hop someone can help thanks

Does the keyboard on your laptop allow you to enter the BIOS by pressing whatever key it tells you to to enter setup?

Usually F8, F10 or DEL sometimes F2.

Is there a PS2 port on that laptop perhaps ? ?

Since we're getting info one post at a time i'm only going to ask one question per post.
