when im playing a game, The computer shuts down.

Hello, i have these new CD ROM games, so i installed them. Recently my brother played another CD ROM rom game,and the computer ket on turning off 20 minutes through the game. Nowthis is happening to me. why, and how could i help prevent it??

What games? What OS (operating system)? PC, video card, sound card, etc. I'm not a gamer but anyone who can help you will need to know these data.  :)

You will have to provide us with more information.

Do these things on a regular basis:

  • Scan for viruses, trojans and spyware
  • Defragment Hard Disk Drives/Partitions
  • Remove redundant files
  • Uninstall Programs no longer required
  • Download latest security patches
  • Clean registry
  • Clean computer case.


If you do these things on a regular basis, something else may be the problem. Why do we have to keep telling people to give more details?

check your power settings in the control panel to......never...
