My Flightsim 2004 has suddenly lost the Just Flight British airport addons and a dialog box appears stating that, You have 3D enabled which may cause some software programs not to work......Help! :(

Your screwed mate.

Fligthsim is such a big game that if it has a error in the database its gone for good. the only option is to reinstall it.

you might be lucky some times it keeps the add on planes so it might do the same for the scenery.

If your graphics card had given up the ghost, you wouldn't be looking at this forum right now.

Did you try updating the video card drivers..?

I have the lastest driver...re-installed it from the Dell driver CD which came with the computor.

The exact wording of the dialog box which shows up every time I alter Flightsim display settings is:

Software 3D Enabled
Your computer cannot currently use 3-D hardware accelleration.
Software 3-D mode has been enabled.
Some graphical features may not appear in software mode.

Did you disable anything in Start -> Run -> DXDIAG?

Have not touched anything in dxdiag
I did take a look at the diagnostic tool and noticed that in the Display tab "Direct 3D accelleration " was Enabled?
I am not sure if this is the same as aforementioned 3-D Hardware accelleration but I disabled it, started FS9 but still no joy?
So I then enabled it again.

I also note that in the Flightsim program no "Full Screen" mode is available  :-?

The latest drivers you get from the Internet site, not from a CD. Try running the DirectX tests on the display tab of dxdiag.
