a batch file to replace words in text files
« on: September 21, 2004, 07:44:40 PM »
hi, everyone.
is there a command that I can use in Command Prompt to replace once word or string for another in a text file?
or is there a way to do it without actually opening the file manualy with notepad.exe or something and replacing it there? thank you!

BrainiacOutcast, you're getting a bit silly reviving ANOTHER three year old thread, and giving a wrong answer into the bargain!

check out "sed for Windows".
