DVD-R burn
« on: November 06, 2006, 03:44:31 PM »
Having copied a short film from a friends DVD to 'My Documents' I then burnt this onto a DVD-R disc using 'Cyberlink Power2 to Go', and also Nero software. The problem I am having is trying to play the DVD-R disc on my DVD Player although it plays well on my PC. I have even tried playing it on a friends DVD Player which is multi region with no success. Any help would be appreciated if not to technical. Thanks.

If it is an .avi file you can have this problem. A standalone DVD player looks for certain file structures. Computers do not require this because it is a program Windows understands.
