    PVR's - Secondary Audio problem
    « on: November 26, 2006, 05:08:04 PM »
With the PVR software I have tried (InterVideo, Beyond TV, Neo TV, ArcSoft) I keep having the same problem when it comes to audio.

When watching channels 27, 32, 36, an audion message says that I'm listening to the secondary audio of the channel (and to change my settings to English), or the audio is in Spanish.

I use InterVideo right now. When I changed the audio setting to mono instead of stereo, the channels play normally.

We don't have this problem when watching regular TV. Why does it happen on the computer? Is there a way to fix it so I can use the stereo setting?

    Thanks - Kimberli

If your tuner has an option to disable SAP, try disabling it.

SAP means Second (or Sub) Audio Program

        Thanks.

I checked the Device Manager for the tuner and checked the properties. Unfortunately, it did not have any options.

Is there another place I should look?

        Thanks - Kimberli

Sorry for the late reply. Look in the tuners setup options. You won't find it in Device Manager.
