I think it is ok there are definitely some glitches to be worked out. From what I have read allot of us have had problems, but I guess if you are having problems that is why you are here not because you are gust curious.

    Personally, I hate it
But then again, I hated IE6 as well
I hardly ever use it anyway, Firefox is the best thing since sliced bread in my opinion (or maybe better, who needs sliced bread?  Just rip a chunk off...)

:-/ IE7 is OK, but I dont like that the menu bar is gone by default. It also broke a bunch of automated macros, so I moved my automated routines over to one of my other systems running IE6 still and Windows 2000 Pro.

Kind of wish they left the format the same, and just patched the problems.

BTW: I hate the XP View in XP, I like the Classic View that looks like 2000. I dont need a wizard to help me navigate or a questionaire when adjusting network properties through the GUI etc.

LOL ..... I'm a wee bit confused by the poll voting options.......

The question is ..... "Do you like IE7"

As I read it that would tend to suggest that one either likes it or doesnt ......
So the anticipated response should be either .... YES or No ...... and yet neither of those voting options are available......?
Is it possible these polls are being created by a polititian?
I was unable to vote as my possible answers arent listed.

If you don't know the answer, it isn't a dumb question.

I think IE 7 is OK.  However, I installed Firefox on 9/28/06 and it has become my preferred browser.  I like the way it works for tabbed browsing better than IE.  If I click on links in email messages, Firefox opens them in separate tabs in an existing window; IE opens another window.

            Which?  IE7 or Firefox?
If Firefox, definitely (in my opinion anyway)
If IE7, it depends on what you think of the new interface...apparently the security is better and I think it's a bit faster, but personally I vastly prefer Firefox

I don't like IE, any version or any flavor. Used Netscape under DOS and even that was better than IE. Any of the Mozilla.org browsers or those based on the gecko engine are superior to IE.

Ok, nice look & feel. Not nearly as fast as firefox. Windows platform is a resource-hog. Not the best, but the best IE.

As more people learn about alternative browsers, interest in IE is waning.

                        Previous 3 replies . . . totally agree.
I hear IE is down quite a bit on market share, Firefox actualy commands more of the market than IE in some places, even as high as around 50%.
More and more people learn about alternative browsers as time gos on, mianly (I feel) due to Google's strong ties with Firefox, the Spreadfirefox campaign, and so on.  Plus, it is featured in a lot of sites, not just tech sites.
Alo,o Opera is gaining support with its release for the Nintendo DS.

IE7 has doubled the error message and application crash count on my PC. As far as improved security I wonder !!  After installing, my system was infested within one hour and I had to format the active drive and use Ghost utility, it also interfers with programmes at switch-off.

                        regards
