It's supposed to mean you remind me of a previous poster. He went by the handle "Backdated".
This is a free forum. The advice here is of varying quality. That's a fact of life isn't it. Some people are more knowledgeable than others. Some will rush to help when they are ill-equipped to do so. If you are concerned that someone is being led astray, why not gain credibility by posting
better advice, rather than casting aspersions? If you really feel a thread needs policing, that's what the mods are here for (and the mods I think allow some of the longer established posters to do some policing too).
Sarcasm and disrespect from a newbie is never going to go down well. You've been around forums long enough to know that. Once you've earned your stripes, your "constructive criticism" may be taken a little more seriously, because I'm sure that In Real Life, you're a nice guy that wants to help people. But you haven't been here long enough for us to learn that about you, we can't take it on trust, and frankly if you continue in this vein you are just going to get people's backs up.
Now, lets return to the topic and save the off-topic chatter for another more appropriate thread.
