Macromedia Flash Pro 8 help!!!

Ok so i got Macromedia Flash Pro 8 and i animate and build websites with it. The thing is that everytime i try to add Action Script it closes the program. I really need to update my site but i can't because my Flash closes everytime i try to add the Script. Could someone please help me?

How much did you spend on this program ? ?

i spent $300 dollars for it, i use it to make animations and websites. And it closes when i put in Action Script and thats what i need to use to update my site.
