    i have this new dell pc ..........that i got it from my friend and he has this thing installed not sure what is this ......not aware of it .............

    i would really appreciate if someone let me knw what this is ? :-? :-?

    It looks like your friend downloaded and installed a free verison of Microsoft's SQL Service Manager.  I think it may be the 2003 version, but I'm not quite sure.

      thanks a lot for replying but i posted my problem here so the experts can tell me what it does , what is it actually?? if i get rid of it what would happen, cuz i dont really know how to use it ........and before coming here i searched on google enuff but i couldn't understand it .........so please tell me what is it thanks  :-? :-?

        You don't need SQL server unless you are running a server and a website that uses database access. You can just simply uninstall it.
