Can't launch html links from applications

I'm not sure what happened but now I'm unable to launch html/web links from my winXp applications. E.g. nothing happens when I click on some html links attached in the emails from my Outlook Express. There are some programs where they provide a link to their website when you click on the 'About' tab rite, now it is unable to launch the link into my default browser as well.

FYI, I'm using winXP with Firefox as the default browser.

Hope someone can help me out.

Can you provide any other information such as when this started occurring?  Was it working before?  Did you make any recent changes on your system?

Thanks for your attention =) It's very nice of you.
I've resolved the matter already. I managed to find somewhere in the net abt setting the registered file types in the Folders Options. It must have got corrupted previous and lost the association. I've re-registered the URL:HTTP file types and it's working fine now!
