Sony Picture Package Ver 1.5 for Handycam

Hi, I have a Sony DCR-HC19 and have been trying to use SPP 1.5. I've been told that SSP doesn't work with XP service pack 2 and that Pixela were working with Sony to try to get a download or new version available. Does anyone know whther it is in fact available and where I could get hold of it?

Here is a support page complete with an 800 #...don't get your hopes up though...according to google about 749,382 people are having similar issues.
