XP frozen on install

When I try to do a clean install of windows xp with sp2 it will load everything into memory let me press enter to install windows then it will say please wait starting windows but it will get frozen on that screen
Any ideas on what to do?  :question

Is your Windows XP cd genuine and legal? Are there deep scratches or dust on the disk?

The CD is clean has no scrathes and is legal

Have you tried to see if the disk works fine in any other computers?
