Symantic pcAnywhere yellow cable
« on: January 13, 2007, 02:43:36 PM »
I acquired a Symantic pcAnywhere yellow cable many years ago. I would like to communicate between two pcs using XP's DCC facility. Can I use this yellow cable for printer port to printer port connection?
I did a pinout check and it doesn't look like the standard parallel port cable pinout.
What can I use this cable for?

Thanks

That would be horrendously slow.  If you have ethernet ports, a crossover cable would be a thousand (or more) times faster.  Failing that, you could pick up a PC-to-PC USB cable, which would also be fairly quick.
Only able to visit the forums sporadically, sorry.
