windows wont start

Please please help me. I downloaded ie 6 last night and it froze so i restarted my pc and now all i can get is an error saying ie program loading error reinstall windows. I have a sony pc with windows me. Please help me.

Press F8 on startup and choose the last known good configuration.

What Operating System is installed and how did you install Internet Explorer 6?

Can you boot into safemode? ( F8 )

no i still get this error in safe mode.
i installed it by downloading it off the internet

Have you tried choosing the last known good configuration?

go to the control panel add/remove and uninstall ie6 <win9x does not like ie6 much?or if you wish try the repair option...click on ie6 in add/remove properties box and then click the add/remove button...options will appear for you to repair it..
