Windows 98 does not have a restore option. That should be a short read.

The BIOS setup should be accessed by pressing F10 when the machine starts, before the Windows logo. Once there look in "boot options".

curser.

Yes, it is;
1. Diskette Drive
2.[ATAPI CD-ROM Drive]
3. [Hard Drive]

Yes I see how to change.

I am beginning to suspect it is possible the video Display has been corrupted.

Also, I can only depend on curser in the Safe Mode, there is a hazard running in this mode.
