Pentium M and Centrino
« on: January 30, 2007, 07:22:39 PM »
So I bought my Dell Inspiron 600m laptop back in 2004/2005.. and I wasn't aware of centrino/wireless tech.  After buying my laptop I found out that it did not come with any wireless adapters.  My computer has a Pentium M processor (without centrino) and I just recently bought the intel pro/wireless 3945ABG minipci network connection, but I don't know how to install it.  Do I need anything else?.. or is the chip not even compatible with my laptop?  :'(

I'm pretty sure the Inspirion 600 laptop isn't compatiable with that wireless card. The 3945ABG works on most Dells 1 year old or newer. Can I ask where you purchased the card?
