Stub problem win 98SE

 :question I was trying to  install Kazaa and before that two games, well upon instalation a box comes up and says "Incompatible Version of the RPC Stub  the installer will know Exit" I have never had this come up befor. I also can not think what i could have done to mess anything up.

The newist thing i have installed is Clamwin free Antivirus and Sygate personal Firewall also free software. do i have to reinstall my win98SE OS?

Have you checked that the version of Kazaa and the games you are trying to install are compatible with Win98SE?
Many new games and programs only work with Win2K onwards.

They say they are, and i have used Kazaa in the past and had no problums, that was like 3 years ago thought.   :question

I just checked, and the newest version of Kazaa says it is compatible with 98.
Strange.
Can you install other things without problems?

Yes, i do not have much problums just here and there and on these things. What should i do i wonder? :question

OK, well I'm no Windows 98 expert.
So I'll leave you here, and hopefully someone else can pick up this topic and help you out.
