« on: February 14, 2007, 05:09:37 PM »
Hi.. when i first bought my acer laptop(windowsXP) last year, when i started it the first few times, it prompted me to make recovery cd's, it said i would need to make 4 cd's or 1 dvd.. i put it off and never attempted it, now i would like to make them for just in case... how do i do this? it doesnt give me the prompt anymore, and i cant find it in the program list anywhere... after i make them, will i be able to use these on any other computor?

The disks, if you can still make  them, are only for that machine. You could probably NEVER get it to install on another and even if you could it would be illegal.
