Little Boxes What R They ?
« on: February 22, 2007, 04:05:10 PM »
HEY, YOAH ! !.,,WatchhhaMaGooo!!!!!!

I saved a Search Result of Files and Documents I guess from my hard drive(s), I was looking to uninstall those noises someone called wavs, the Elephant Trumpet and the Haunted House Door Hinges that cause you to jump out of your seat when your deep in thought, working your little, . . away at your computer, the search yielded 83 files, so I saved them, so I could spend time on the internet searching all those great sites, that are better than TV, and also so I wouldn't have to bother you guys with this boring BS, then, . . . I went to the saved file and opened it just in case I couldn't find it on the web, and I would have to ask you guys.

Well it turns out that the file saved on the word pad, has not quite two lines starting with DF, (letters) and the rest mostly little boxes, I seen them before and they scare me  :o
If I MAy, PLEEZ, . . . ,  :-*   ask, .what it is that they possibly are and how do I read my file ?

MAY YOU BE BLESSED BY HE WHO RULES HALVALAH ! ! !

If I ever have children, please stay away from them.

Or at least put on a mask and entertain them.  Your choice.

Jp.... to answer your question ( while everyone else is busy talking to each other) the little boxes mean that your PC doesnt have the correct font to display what was written on those pages.... you'll have to look at them online again to see what they wrote, cos the font comes with the page and when you go offline the font is no longer available.

Quite possibly.
That's why I asked exactly what was saved.
Could be fonts, could be the wrong format.
I doubt a web page would normally open in Wordpad.

Dude, you're younger than me!
Let's not get into a discussion of ages here, I'm younger than most people here but I prefer people to treat me as an equal rather than a child.
Actually, I was surprised how many people were quite young, I ran a poll a while back on the subject.

Has nothing to do with fonts...you are trying to view a system file in a word processing program.

could be the wrong format.
Looks like that for me when I try to open something like a program in Notepad or similar.
