ok sooo i was thinking of buying a new game and i was just wondering
if any1 could help me find a good one

pref
weapons/setting future(like halo but not halo please)
online
good game graphics
NEW
and wel most of all it must be a first person shooter

I would suggest BF2142.
I play it, I think it's fantastic.
(Join my clan LOL).
Doom 3? Quake 4? Might be sort of what you're looking for.
Unreal Tournament?

What are the specs of the PC you are getting though?
It's no good recommending a new, graphically intense game if you have integrated graphics, because it will be unplayable.
Which version of UT are you talking about?

lol, halo custom edition rocks. Xbox live rocks and halo on the computer can go online.
Doom 3 is good
Half life is kool
Unreal tournament
Counter Strike is also kool but not in the future

Yeah, like for Halo on my comp, i changed my video card so it would run smoother and it really did.
Before, i couldn't get any detailed graphics and the game lagged a lot and after the new vid card the game was very detailed and fast. Now i have to change the sound card because i can't access all the sound features of the game...

unreal tournament all the way. im a mad keen ut99 player and the community is still going for this game. there are lots of clans still around, tournaments and clan wars.

in australia in april there is a lan that is based solely on Unreal Tournament that people from all over the country come to. its gunna be huge and i cant wait.

I would suggest Dark Messiah Of Might and Magic. Its not futuristic (Swords and shields, Bows and Arrows) but its an incredibly violent FPS with amazing combat and the graphics are incredible assuming you have the hardware.

But believe me the hand to hand fighting is REALLY addictive, its done in a way in which I prefer it to guns and shooting.
If you want a shooty game go for Doom3 it still looks really nice and is the scariest game you can buy whilst still looking pretty

Please try this online, multiplayer game. CALL OF DUTY 2 for PC. I love this game, Best I have ever played. You will be addicted trust me! I like Quake, Its better the unreal tournerment, Fear sucks, TRY IT DUDE!

I only have Call of Duty 1 for the PC. Haven't played it though. The CD is sitting right on my desk. I Heard it was a good game.
