What to do next

I have a situation that I would like some feedback on. I have three computers, 1 desktop, 2 laptops and have been dealing with virus/trojan for 3 months. I have had 4 different techs at my house to hook up my system by what they all call "utmost and highest security" only to find out that my computer is still infected and remotely controlled. I have already confirmed that I have a rootkit. I had all 3 comps at network specialist who said that they cleared off everything and reinstalled all op programs and all looked good. They hooked up securly and within 3 hours I was running remote settings. I talked to another company in town - What he told me is that there are virus that can attach to higher memory on the motherboard and lock in - and he seemed very knowledgeable about this. He said that really the best solution, and to be assured that the problem ends is to get rid of the computers and start over. Do you agree? This madness really needs to stop. 2 of these 3 comouters are brand new to the tune of 2,000.00 but they are not doing me much good either off or with remote control capabilities. Any suggestions? I have found computer techs/companies that won't touch this subject as their knowledge is limited. Advice to remove the rootkit with all the newest latest and greatest antivirus/tools, etc won't help as it seems to keep loading on.  thanks :-? :-? :-?

How did you get on with your last topic ....

    You didn't report back.

As to "high level" malware on the motherbaord you the tech you spoke to may be thinking of this ...

You mention that rootkit fixers you used didn't work. Which rootkit removal programs did you use?

And have you tried fixing ONE of your computers at a time? As mentoined in the other thread ... this is vital.
