Uuuhhh ..., not again ...    :o ::)

soybean,

wait a minute !

I just received this;

As indicated in last info file some how you got operating windows messaging subsystem.
This is great.
In this case please try to create a new Windows Messaging profile and then setup RingCentral software to use that new profile.
Please follow this procedure:
1. Click Start > Setting > Control Panel
2. Double-click the Mail icon in the Control Panel
3. You will see a Services tab in the opened window.
4. Click the Show Profiles button on the bottom of the Services tab.
5. Click Add button on the General tab and you will see Microsoft Outlook Setup Wizard window.
6. Select Manually configure information services radio button.
7. Click Next button after that.
8. Enter the profile name you want and click Next button again.
9. On the next screen you will be prompted to add services necessary for this profile.
10. Click Add button and select Personal Folders.
11. You'll be prompted to enter file name when adding Personal Folders service.
12. Enter the name you would like to see and click OK button to add it to the services.
13. Click Add button and select Personal Address Book, click OK
14. Click OK button and then click Finish to activate changes.
15. Click Close button to exit Mail properties.
16. Start RingCentral software.
17. Select the new just created profile when prompted in the Email Setup during RingCentral software startup.

I do not have a mail Icon in control panel, . . What to do, will appreciate your walk through on this, if you are willing.

Jp

You don't have a Mail icon because you don't have Outlook installed.  Installing it adds the Mail icon to your Control Panel.

AGAIN:
One more comment: If you have no other significant interest in Outlook except to enable faxing, I think you can find much cheaper alternatives, such as http://www.rkssoftware.com/mightyfax/overview.html
This does not require Outlook.  Get it and be done with this.

Hey,
Did someone modify my last Post, i.e., . . d**n, ??

And Soybean, Here's what they said;

 As for messaging subsystem problem: Have you tried to create
new messaging profile as was described in previous message?
It's neccessary change either you have had Outlook installed or not.

I don't want you to get all disappointed that this is hopeless, but I needed to tell you this so that you might in some way profit by info.
