You don't get any video at all?
Sure you disabled onboard sound, and not, say, onboard video?
Does the monitor display anything at all?

Could you possibly have disrupted the proper seating of your video card in it's slot when you installed your sound card?  Did you disconnect your monitor(s) when you installed the video card?  Have you checked all your cable connections?

I gather your video adapter is an AGP or PCI Express video card.  Right?  Does your computer also have onboard video capability?  Is it possible you changed something in the BIOS affecting video?

Remove the sound card and see if it boots.

As i said before, there is no onboard video and yes when i remove the sound card it works fine. Found out the other day that this sound card has 3 pieces to it, and without the other two it doesnt work.

    Yep...pieces parts can be important.
