Weird Mouse Problem
« on: March 12, 2007, 02:03:17 PM »
I have a Logitech Optical mouse (not wireless). In MS Word at page breaks, when I scroll with the mouse wheel, the last sentence of the page will keep repeating and I can't scroll back up. I have to click on the side-bar then go back into the document to continue. It doesn't do it every time and I have changed drivers and I am using a new mouse....????Any ideas? Thanks

You'll need to post a bit more info than that.
What OS are you using?
Is this mouse USB or PS/2?
If USB, have you tried a PS/2 mouse?  Have you tried any other mouse at all to see if it gets the same results?
Does this happen with any other programs?
What kind of protection do you have?

Posting as much info as possible makes it a lot easier for everyone to help you out.

Thanks - good point.
It's a PS2 mouse, it only happens in Word no other program. Haven't tried USB mouse. Windows XP OS with firewall. I guess i was already thinking it had to do with MS Word....thanks.
