Reinstall of Win xp refuses to show old directorie
    « on: March 11, 2007, 06:54:55 PM »
Recently I did a complete reinstallation of Win XP.

I ended up with 2 Administrator directories and neither one had my old My Documents directory.

When I searched for a file in that old directory I found it, but why doesn't it show in my Explorer listing?

    Thanks for your help.

you said you did a fresh install the reason no one responded is because you deleted all that information.

No, I did a reinstall not a fresh install.  I did not format the HD.  Consequently I can reference some directories with the Search program, but they do not show up in Explorer.

      Just wondering why.
