Icons

I went to "Start" then games and clicked and moved my Solitaire icon from my programs menu to my desktop.  Now it will not show up on my game menu.  How do I move it back to the original place.

1st Right click on the Spider icon and click COPY
Next, Right click on START, choose OPEN ALL USERS.
Next, Click the Start Menu Icon.
Next, Click the Games Folder Icon.
Then Right Click into an empty area of this folder and choose PASTE.
Thats it!

wydude307...... What happened was you moved the icon from the start menu to the desktop....... What you should have done was ..... clicked your start button ...then all programs.... found the program you wanted to have a shortcut to on the desktop, right clicked on it and selected, Send to ........ Desktop (create shortcut)

If you don't know the answer, it isn't a dumb question.

Alternatively, you could right-click on the file and select Copy.  Then right click on your desktop and select Paste.  Basically the same thing; just a matter of preference.

Another way is to right click on the game on the Programs menu and select Create Shortcut.  The shortcut will appear at the bottom of the Programs sub-menu with a 2 in parenthesis.  Then, drag that shortcut to the desktop.  If you want to remove the (2), right click on the shortcut, select Rename, and remove the (2).
