Help?
« on: March 28, 2007, 10:30:37 PM »
I'm wasn't quite sure where to post this question. I hope it's okay that I ask here.

I'm somewhat worried about this file that is on my computer. Everytime I run 'NoAdware v5.0' and have it scan my computer for things, the first two things that pop up on the list are bearshare files. I cant read the whole location thing.. but what I can see  is 'HKEY_CURRENT_USER/AppEvents/Sc'.. then it cuts off. Or perhaps that is all of it. It is a Regkey it says, and it's also dangerous, apparently. However, NoAdware, for some reason, cannot remove it.

When I click the file, it says 'P2P application known to be bundled with malicious or unwanted applications'. I don't know what it means. All I know is I want these two things off my computer.

Does anyone have any idea how I could get them off?

Thanks in advance.

Try running a full scan using TrendMicro Online Scan
