page opening in new window im 'my computer'

I have a little problem but it is somewhat irritating:
Whenever i open a drive at 'my computer' page the drive opens in a new window .
i want to remove this situation such that the drives open in the same window.

Note:folder options in the tools menu of windows explorer (open each folder in the same window) is not solving my problem.

Open the folder and go to Tools > Folder Options.  Select the Open each folder in the same window radio and click OK.  Does that fix your problem?

Open an Explorer window...select Tools then folder options...third item down check Open in same window...
