« on: October 16, 2004, 10:47:32 AM »
I have a IBM pc and it had windows 95 installed. The CMOS battery died and it wouldnt start windows. I replaced the battery and it's asking me for a boot disk. i insert the boot disk and on the screen it says "Starting Windows 95..." and then drops me to the DOS prompt. I type C: and it says "invalid drive specification" what now???

Your BIOS may have been reset causing your hard drives or other options to be wrongly configured.

reconfigure your BIOS.
